Lovely Pano Mate... Kinda different and cool. It has a very peculiar.. fish-eye feel to it. Very well done.. :)

fantastic accomplishment.
Man, this is one of the best panaromics I've seen recently. The tones are amazing especially the contrast from the clouds to the horizon. Well timed and seamlessly stitched. What type of photographic gear did you use for this and is this the native resolution or do has it been scaled down? This would have made a marvelous print if it was at a higher res. I think it's great how both the bird and the male subject share the same frame.

Oh, I just noticed, did you mirror the first and last frame to like bookend the piece? That's a nice touch. :)

This is indeed really good. It's interesting how the clouds and the colors can make a normal scene look appealing. The part with the bird, the boy and the roof would make a great photo on its own.

One rarely sees panoramas that go the full circle. I, too, would be interested in hearing how you did it, as I can't catch any seams no matter how hard I look.
many hours in photoshop.
i have a panorama splicer that works pretty well usually (corrects lens distortion... i use it mostly for splicing tall buildings, such as the water tower), but this was way too much for the program to handle.
18 photos composed as best as i could in photoshop. no seams... i pasted in buildings from each shot over the other. blending them wouldn't have worked because of the lens distortion - wide angle.

awww. the exif info didn't stick. i'll just have to add it to the description

full size: 22318 x 3000 px with the black border.
so at 200 dpi, it would be 111.59 x 15 in. can daprints do that size? i know my friend's EPSON Stylus Pro 7600 can.

the bookends are actually two separate photos. i had another photo (number 19) that i didn't end up using, because i didn't want to overlap too much past 360°

[link] Here are the aspect ratios they accept for all products (including panoramic prints). I'm not sure if I can figure out what you'd need to do to make this printable by their standards but I'd love to have this on my wall one day. :D

yeah, i saw those, but if i go to submit it as a print it only shows aspect ratios 1:1 through 2:1. panoramics aren't an option. do you have to arrange those special or something?

any idea who i'd have to talk to in order to make that happen?
